Description
Designed as an expansion for the IRIS digital camera, the LUM G2 uses sub-enamel illumination diagnostics to help clinicians detect caries, cracks, and leaking margins. The camera can be used to instantly document photographic evidence of the findings which can be saved to the patient record. Sub-enamel illumination uses a high-intensity light source that is directed perpendicularly to the plane of the tooth in order to track how the light is dispersed by impurities it encounters within the tooth.
